Parent-Infant Psychotherapy
Parent-Infant Psychotherapy (PIP) is a supportive, judgment-free approach that helps parents understand their baby’s cues, process parenting stress and build a strong, secure bond with their infant. Instead of treating the parent or the baby individually, PIP focuses on the dynamic between them, building the relationship and helping them connect. Babies communicate constantly through body language, cries, and eye contact. PIP helps parents interpret these cues so they can respond with greater awareness and confidence.
Becoming a parent often creates unexpected stress, anxiety, or memories of one's own childhood. PIP provides a safe space for parents to work through these feelings before they become overwhelming. Sessions naturally incorporate simple play and everyday caregiving routines, with the therapist offering thoughtful support in the moment.
